End of Summer got you down?

Many of our patients are returning from out of town summer trips to find their neck and back did not enjoy the travel.  In an effort to encourage them to receive the proper care during these tough economic times, we have adjusted our fees.  Patients who pay cash at the time of service can now receive their adjustment for only $36, and therapies for only $12.  This is a great option for patients who do not have insurance coverage, or patients who do have coverage-but very high co-pays.  Please call our office for more information.

We also have an "End of Summer Special"  going on for all new patients.  New patients may receive their initial visit (exam and x-rays) for only $70- that's 30% off the usual price.

So....if you have been putting off returning for care or have been thinking of someone you would like to refer...NOW is the time to do it.  You will get the same great quality care, for a discounted price.

ADHD Whole Child Wellness

http://www.adhdwellnessexpert.com/greatest-minds-on-adhd-interview/dr-robert-melillo-greatest-minds-on-adhd-interview-series

The above link is for an interview with Dr. Robert Melillo, one of the primary developers of the Brain balancing protocols and founder of the Brain Balance Centers.  Our ADHD program is based on his protocols and research.  The interview is long but has great information for any parent of an ADHD child!  Also watch for his new book Reconnected Kids coming out in April.

We are now accepting new applicants for our ADHD Whole Child Wellness program.  I will be doing several informational Parents Nights in April and May.  Contact the office for times and dates.

Our Whole Child Wellness Open House was a great success!

If you missed our Open House, you missed a great opportunity to learn a lot about neurobehavioral disorders and how our Brain Balancing Program works.  We had many parents, educators and medical professionals come and check us out, and we provided what we feel was a fun and interesting way to learn about our program.  If you were unable to make it, never fear.....we are already in the planning stages for our next Open House in the spring.

The most frequently asked question at the Open House was- "how does this program differ from the behavioral therapy and all the other things we have tried?".

Our program differs primarily in how we view ADHD and autism, and therefore how we treat it.
In the Whole Child Wellness Program we determine the causes of hemisphericity through clinical exam and work to remove them.  Hemisphericity is the primary reason for the symptoms associated with neurobehavioral disorders.  Once the causes are determined and removed, we then work to strengthen any deficits created by the weakened side of the brain.

I'll discuss more on how our program is different from other treatments, and why we are so successful in the treatment of ADHD, Asperger's, autism and learning delays in my next post.

You may e-mail any questions about our program to staff.drflemming@embarqmail.com with ADHD in the subject line.

Yours in health,

Dr. Lois Flemming
